Double click on the file in windows explorer to licence Alteryx using a file based licence (once Alteryx is installed).

You may find your Alteryx serial number needs to change to use the new licence (you will be notified the licence is using a different serial number), in this case please use the Tools -> Manage Licence option to change the serial number, as below:

You will have been provided your serial number along with the Alteryx licence file.

If a licence is successful the padlocks on the tools in the toolbar will disappear, if you have any problems please raise a support ticket.
