Note that licencing Alteryx requires Internet access.

If this is your first time installing the software and you have not used a trial licence then you should be guided through the installation process on first running the software, as below. If you have previously registered for a trial on this machine then skip to the section futher below entitled "Registering after a trial period".

Step 1: Register with your email address (this should be the same email address the licence key is assigned to)

Step 2: On the next page fill in the details requested and choose a password - make a note of the password as you will need it in future for accessing the Alteryx Gallery.

Step 3: On the following page (as below) choose register with a licence key that has been provided and copy and paste the long alphanumeric code from your licence email.

Assuming you have been successful you will be given a message telling you so and the padlock symbols will disappear form the tools on the toolbar.

Registering after a trial period

If you have previously registered for a trial then the option above will not appear.

Instead visit the menu Tools -> Install Licence and type you email address and password (used when registering the trial) at the prompt. You should then be given the option to install your new licence. If you have any issues please raise a support ticket.
